This event is a critical leap forward as the team gears up for its inaugural season in the highly competitive FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), commencing next year.
Crafting Power: The Unique V-8 Architecture
Following the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, Genesis promptly initiated the construction of the GMR-001's initial development chassis. Remarkably, just over a month later, this groundbreaking chassis is nearing completion. The heart of the GMR-001 is its V-8 powertrain, which will resonate with World Rally Championship enthusiasts, as it ingeniously combines two of Hyundai's robust four-cylinder WRC engines.
